Having spent over 30 years in the professional beauty industry, in all facets from service to education to sales and marketing, I have seen the industry evolve. I have seen friends and colleagues disappear and once prominent brands reduced to obsolescence. Yet, my passion and love for this industry is unshaken. The only constant in the universe is change, and one must adapt to changes in the environment to remain viable and relevant. It doesn’t matter if you are person, product, or thing. To effectively adapt and evolve, you must anticipate change and not simply react to.
